What is the CAW Certification?
|
The Certified Associate Webmaster (CAW)
certification is for anyone who is proficient at blending the art of
HTML-coding with the visual arts to create pages that are content-rich
and visually pleasing. They are proficient at page layout, image creation
and manipulation, interactivity, content creation, project and business management.
There are two possible approaches to obtaining
the title of "Certified Associate Webmaster (CAW)."
Approach One comprises successfully passing the 8 Webmaster Certification
courses listed below and passing the CAWexam.
CAW Recommended Courses:
To pass a course, the student must complete all class exercises, bonus
exercises, and homework assignments. The CAW exam, consisting of 70 questions, must be taken from
a WOW authorized testing facility, but WOW Academy offers a CAW assessment exam which
consists of 72 questions similar to those on the real exam.
Approach Two is intended for candidates who are already proficient
with the CAW exam content covered in the courses
listed above and would like to take the CAW Exam now.
Such candidates will take the CAW Exam from a WOW
authorized testing facility. Passing rating is 70%.
